Production Manager

Role Overview:
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing operations of single-use bioprocess bags, coordinating manpower and machines, maintaining productivity KPIs, minimizing wastage, and ensuring timely order fulfillment, and work in alignment with the organizations commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Execution:
Oversee daily production operations—bag sealing, cutting, port welding, leak testing.
Ensure proper shift-wise planning based on order volume and raw material availability.
Coordinate maintenance for capex.
People Management:
Lead a team of machine operators and general helpers.
Track attendance, productivity, discipline, and daily task allocation.
Train and upskill team for lean manufacturing and low-wastage practices.
Quality Coordination:
Work in close collaboration with the QA/QC team to meet ISO 13485 & client quality standards.
Ensure timely corrective action on quality deviations.
Process Optimization:
Optimize sealing and cutting cycles for improved yield and reduced film loss.
Create and maintain manufacturing SOPs and batch records.
Inventory & Material:
Coordinate with Purchase for raw material inward, stock utilization, and alerting for shortages.
Monitor usage of films, filters, connectors, tubes, etc.
Reporting & Compliance:
Maintain daily production logs, efficiency reports, and incident records.
Comply with safety standards and cleanroom protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Polymer or Industrial Engineering.
6–10 years of hands-on experience in medical device or biotech manufacturing.
Knowledge of cleanroom processes, GMP, ISO 13485.
Team leadership and ERP familiarity (Tally, Zoho, SAP, etc.)
