Operations Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day operations of the plant to ensure seamless execution of production, logistics, and facility management.

  • Oversee and guide the administration, who manages facility, security, office assistants, and housekeepers.

  • Supervise the operations team, ensuring proper inventory management, procurement follow-ups, and delivery schedules.

  • Supervise AMC and generation & issuance of work order, and assist in production planning.

  • Develop and monitor operational KPIs to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance productivity.

  • Establish SOPs for operational workflows, including inventory management, facility upkeep, and logistics coordination.

  • Collaborate with the production, QA/QC, and purchase departments to align operational strategies with organizational goals.

  • Identify bottlenecks in operations and implement effective solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines for all operational activities.

  • Create and manage the department’s budget, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience (6-8 years) in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or biotech setup.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple teams and functions.

  • Proficiency in inventory and logistics management software/tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration across departments.
