Finance Manager

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.

  • 8–10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing, biotech, or medical device sectors.

  • Proven track record in managing banking relations (term loans, fund & non-fund-based limits).

  • Expertise in Indian taxation laws (Direct and Indirect), statutory audits, and regulatory compliance.

  • Proficient in ERP systems, Tally, SAP, and financial data analysis.

  • Strong team-building and leadership skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Finance Leadership:

    • Develop and manage the company’s annual budget aligned with strategic growth plans.

    • Provide financial guidance to the CXO team for business expansion, M&A, and capital structuring.

  2. Banking & Fund Management:

    • Manage relations with banking and financial institutions for working capital limits, term loans, and non-fund-based facilities like LCs and BGs.

    • Ensure timely servicing of loans and adherence to covenants.

    • Prepare CMA data, project reports, and renewal documents for credit facilities.

  3. Financial Operations:

    • Oversee financial reporting including P&L, Balance Sheet, and MIS reports.

    • Monitor AR/AP cycles, expense control, and cash flow management.

  4. Regulatory & Compliance:

    • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Advance Tax, and Income Tax returns.

    • Liaise with auditors, consultants, and legal teams for internal and external audits.

    • Maintain compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, RBI, and other financial regulations.

  5. Team Management:

    • Build and lead a competent finance and accounts team.

    • Mentor junior team members, allocate responsibilities, and review team performance periodically.

  6. Cost Control & Profitability:

    • Analyze variances, conduct cost-benefit studies, and initiate cost-saving measures.

    • Implement strong internal controls and SOPs to ensure financial discipline.

  7. ERP & Digitalization:

    • Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP solutions for financial operations.

    • Ensure digital record-keeping and reporting accuracy.
